Dark Circles Under Your Eyes

Dark circles under your eyes do not just appear instantly. There are causes that trigger these dark circles under and around the eyes. The darkness is caused by inflamed blood vessels around the eyes. The skin around the eye area is thin; hence, blood vessels are obviously seen.

Lack of proper sleep. Sleeping is not just resting your body but more obviously, your eyes. Sleeping means total rest for the eyes and its area. As your eyes rest, the blood vessels around it also are relaxed. Without sleep, you are not giving the eyes time to pause.

Genes.Circles are hereditary. Check your family's history. If you have parents with dark circle eyes for no apparent reason, which will explain the dark circles that you now have.

Poor nutrition. What you eat reflects on the outside is true. Unimportant as it may seem, the area is still a part of your body, hence able to accept nutrition from what you eat. Eye area also is affected for the nutrition that your body does not receive.

Stressful lifestyle. Deadlines and heavy circumstances cause dark eye circles. As this is also associated with lack of sleep and proper nutrition, stress will eventually cause these dark eye circles.

Age. Aging depletes the moisture of the skin. This causes the skin to get dry and weak, thus prone to develop circles.
